Play For Today: Another Flip For Dominick (BBC-1 1982, Peter Firth)

SciFi drama Another Flip for Dominick was an entry in the Play For Today strand and a direct sequel to the highly regarded The Flipside of Dominick Hyde.

The original was repeated the week before the broadcast of this. Another Flip For Dominick picks up directly from where Flipside left off, this time out Dominick had to travel back to 1982 to try and track down a fellow time traveller – Pyrus Bonnington.

Dominick of course is more interested in visiting his 1980’s lover and their child (who is his own great-great grandfather). Thanks to misunderstandings and complications Dominick has to use a Groundhog Day style “Clean-Wipe” to put things to rights.
