Special Branch: A Date With Leonidas (ITV 8 Oct 1969, with Michael Keating)

In A Date With Leonidas, the son of a Cypriot terrorist arrives in England to get married, his arrival immediately arouses the interest of Special Branch. Jordan thinks the wedding might just be a secondary event and that he is really out to get revenge on Detective Sergeant Madgwick who he considers responsible for the death of his father.

When Leonidas goes underground the whole team must work hard to track him down. Despite getting him into custody there is no real evidence to hold him so SB allow his wedding day to go ahead. Meanwhile with the wedding in full swing Madgwick receives a strange parcel…

Special Branch do eventually get their man but at no small cost to the team.

Derren Nesbitt is proving to be excellent as Jordan, very laid back but quite precise in his actions.
