However, this illusion of a perfect life hid a dark secret.
Dr. Thomas Burchard, a 71-year-old child psychiatrist and respected community member, was funding Turner’s luxurious lifestyle. When Burchard was found dead in a car abandoned in the desert, the true nature of their relationship came to light, and investigators zeroed in on Turner and her boyfriend, Jon Logan Kennison.
