22 Kids and Counting: Tillie’s Leg (Channel 5, 18 August 2024)

Channel 5

In Sunday night’s emotional episode of 22 Kids and Counting, Noel and Sue Radford confront a difficult situation regarding their daughter, Tillie. They sense that something is amiss and are determined to get to the bottom of it. What they uncover is deeply troubling: Tillie has been bullied at school due to her disability, and she has been hiding her distress. The Radfords’ concern for their daughter’s well-being intensifies as they learn that she has been reluctant to discuss the bullying and has been coming home from school in tears.

Adding to the family’s worries is the fact that Tillie has a pending hospital appointment, and her parents are unsure how the bullying will influence her decision regarding a much-needed operation. Will Tillie confide in her parents and seek their support during this challenging time?

Meanwhile, Sue has embarked on an unexpected literary endeavor. It all starts with grandchild Daisy’s homework project, which takes on a life of its own and leads to Sue becoming an author. Noel is initially skeptical, but Sue’s determination pays off when they are invited to a book signing, proving that her efforts were not in vain.
