This Saturday, CBS presents a ’48 Hours’ double feature, offering back-to-back encore episodes that explore two chilling cases of murders that occurred behind closed doors.
At 9:00 PM ET/PT, join Erin Moriarty as she looks into the disappearance and tragic death of Joey Comunale. Within hours of his friends realizing he was missing, they sprang into action, scouring social media for any clues to his whereabouts. Then, at 10:00 PM ET/PT, contributor Jamie Yuccas presents “48 Hours: Death at the Front Door: Who Shot Heidi Firkus?” On April 25, 2010, a 911 call was made by Heidi Firkus, reporting a break-in at her home. However, the situation took a tragic turn when she was shot and killed. Her husband, Nick Firkus, claimed that his gun discharged during a struggle with the intruder. The investigation unfolds as Yuccas examines the events of that fateful morning and seeks answers to the question: What really happened that led to Heidi’s untimely death?
