ABC Reshapes Fall Lineup for More Monday Night Football Coverage

Press Your Luck

In a significant shift, ABC is adjusting its fall lineup to make room for an increased number of Monday Night Football games. The network will feature 17 games in 2024, including three exclusive broadcasts, 14 simulcasts, and playoff coverage.

This adjustment has caused delays for Celebrity Wheel of Fortune (season five) and Press Your Luck (season six), as well as the new ABC News series Scamanda, all of which are now slated for early 2025.

Consequently, the current Monday night show What Would You Do? will transition to Wednesday nights immediately. Fans can still look forward to Pat Sajak’s final season hosting Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, as these episodes were recorded before his departure from the syndicated version.

Additionally, despite the delay in Press Your Luck’s regular season, a special Halloween-themed episode will air on October 27th from 10:00-11:00 p.m. EDT, titled “Halloween Spooktacular” (607), and will feature host Elizabeth Banks.

The new premiere dates for Celebrity Wheel of Fortune, Press Your Luck, and Scamanda will be revealed at a later date.
