ABC has announced a series of Halloween-themed episodes and films airing throughout October. New episodes of “9-1-1,” “Abbott Elementary,” “Dancing with the Stars,” and “Doctor Odyssey,” as well as the broadcast premieres of “Haunted Mansion” (2023) and “Hocus Pocus 2,” will be featured. Here is the schedule:
Sunday, October 13: 7:00-8:01 p.m. EDT – America’s Funniest Home Videos: A Halloween-themed episode with funny videos, costumes, and decorations. 8:01-10:30 p.m. EDT – Haunted Mansion (2023): A film inspired by the theme park attraction, featuring a woman and her son dealing with supernatural events in their home. 10:30-11:00 p.m. EDT – Celebrity Family Feud: The cast of Haunted Mansion, including Tiffany Haddish and Justin Simien, compete for charity.
Sunday, October 20: 8:01-10:00 p.m. EDT – Hocus Pocus: A film about a teenage boy who awakens a trio of witches in Salem.
Thursday, October 24: 8:00-9:00 p.m. EDT – 9-1-1: The team works on Halloween night and deals with Buck’s over-the-top decorations. 9:00-10:00 p.m. EDT – Doctor Odyssey: Halloween on the Odyssey features a costume contest and a zombie-like illness.
Sunday, October 27: 7:00-8:01 p.m. EDT – America’s Funniest Home Videos: Another Halloween-themed episode with surprises and amusing costumes. 8:01-10:00 p.m. EDT – Hocus Pocus 2: The sequel to the Halloween classic. 10:00-11:00 p.m. EDT – Press Your Luck: A Halloween special with host Elizabeth Banks and contestants competing for prizes.
Tuesday, October 29: 8:00-10:01 p.m. EDT – Dancing with the Stars: Couples perform Halloween-themed routines.
Wednesday, October 30: 9:30-10:02 p.m. EDT – Abbott Elementary: A Halloween episode featuring Janine and Gregory’s couple’s costume and Barbara dealing with parents’ concerns.
Thursday, October 31: Daytime – Live with Kelly and Mark: The annual Halloween special with costumes, skits, and surprises. 8:00-9:00 p.m. EDT – Press Your Luck: A rebroadcast of the Halloween special. 10:00-11:00 p.m. EDT – Doctor Odyssey: A rebroadcast of the Halloween episode.
