ABC’s new drama series “High Potential” has experienced a remarkable surge in its second week, attracting 10.72 million viewers and achieving a rating of 2.20 among adults aged 18-49.
This marks an impressive increase of 192% in total viewership and 610% in the key demographic compared to its initial live audience of 3.67 million and a rating of 0.31. The show’s strong performance highlights its growing popularity across multiple platforms, including Hulu and Disney+.
In terms of linear ratings, “High Potential” ranked as the top program of the night, outpacing NBC’s season finale of “America’s Got Talent,” which garnered 6.52 million viewers. The drama’s linear audience grew by 1.08 million viewers from its premiere, reaching 6.76 million viewers, making it the highest growth of any new fall drama in 16 years.
The show also showed consistent week-over-week growth, with a 10% increase in total viewers and a 4% rise in the 18-49 demographic compared to its premiere on September 17. Its overall reach, including repeats, has resulted in a cumulative audience of 17.79 million viewers since the premiere.
