On Wednesday, 17 July 2024, After Midnight welcomes celebrated comedian Taylor Tomlinson to host a panel of guests from the worlds of entertainment, comedy, music and beyond.
First up is Alaska Thunder@*$k 5000, the stage name of Justin Andrew Honard, drag queen, singer and songwriter. Rising to fame as the runner-up on the fifth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, Alaska has since become a prominent figure in the drag community, known for her fierce performances, infectious personality, and iconic style.
Next, the show welcomes actress Gillian Jacobs, known for her roles in the NBC sitcom Community (2009-2015), the Netflix romantic comedy series Love (2016-2018), and Transatlantic (2023). Jacobs has also appeared in films such as Hot Tub Time Machine 2, The Fear Street Trilogy (2021), and I Used to Go Here (2020).
Finally, rounding out the guests is comedian Chris Fleming, known for his unique, specific character comedy and “powerful, ridiculous songs.” Fleming is best known for his YouTube series Gayle, in which he stars as the eponymous character Gayle Waters-Waters.
