After Midnight, on Monday June 10, welcomes Scott Aukerman, an American writer, actor, comedian, television personality, director, producer, and podcast host. Aukerman is known for hosting the weekly comedy podcast “Comedy Bang! Bang!” and creating the IFC original series of the same name. He also co-created “Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis” and co-founded the Earwolf podcast network.

Aukerman has written for and performed on the sketch series “Mr. Show, and has directed and produced several projects, including “Between Two Ferns with Zach Galifianakis: The Movie, Sorta Uncut Interviews,” which won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Short-Format Live-Action Entertainment Program.

The show also features Carl Tart, an actor, writer, and producer known for his work on “Grand Crew,” “History of the World: Part II,” and “Mad TV.” Tart has lent his voice to various animated projects, including “Star Trek: Lower Decks” and “History of the World: Part II.”

Additionally, the episode welcomes Mary Elizabeth Ellis, an American actress known for her recurring roles as The Waitress on the FX comedy “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia,” Nick’s ex-girlfriend Caroline on the Fox sitcom “New Girl,” and Lisa Palmer on the Netflix horror-comedy “Santa Clarita Diet.” Ellis has also appeared in several other television series, including “Reno 911!,” “House M.D.,” “Cold Case,” and “Happy Endings.”
