The trailer for the fifth season of ‘All Creatures Great and Small’ has been released, looking into the lives of the characters as the story continues in the spring of 1941. The series, set during World War II, resumes with the Skeldale House family adjusting to new beginnings and emotional returns.
The trailer suggests the return of Tristan, a character whose absence has been felt by the close-knit community. Meanwhile, James comes back to the idyllic Yorkshire village, bringing joy to Helen and their new baby, Jimmy. Mrs. H expresses her happiness at having a full house again.
As the war intensifies, the residents of Skeldale House find comfort in the arrival of baby Jimmy, who brings joy and new energy to their lives. Helen embraces motherhood, while Mrs. Hall and Siegfried enjoy the presence of a young child in the house.
With the war ongoing, Siegfried takes on a more significant role at the surgery, and Mrs. Hall and Helen consider their contributions to the community. Carmody, eager to contribute, becomes an integral part of the Skeldale House family.
‘All Creatures Great and Small’ Season 5 will premiere in the UK on Channel 5 and My5 on Thursday, September 19th at 9 pm. Previous seasons are available on My5. The season will premiere in the US on PBS Masterpiece on Sunday, January 12, 2025.
