AMC owned streamer ALLBLK has released the trailer for the second season of the drama series “Kold x Windy.”
Premiering on Thursday, 8 August, the series explores the reality of Chicago’s south side and its influence on street culture.
The new season introduces conflict and desire, with rising hip-hop and drill star Malika “Kold” Wise (Sh’Kia Augustin) at its center. Pregnant with her deceased fiancé’s child, Malika struggles with anxiety and violence, falling back into a life of crime.
Her group member and confidant Renee “Windy” Johnson (Nijah Brenea), meanwhile, remains focused on their music and street reputation.
The season also welcomes new cast member Reginae Carter as Miss 290, who plays one half of Kold & Windy’s rival rap group, K-Town.
Returning cast includes Brely Evans, Kaja Brielle, Kiyanne Muhammad, and Solo Lucci, adding more intrigue to the storylines.
