AMC Greenlights Dramatic Series from ‘Succession’ Writer Jonathan Glatzer

AMC Networks

AMC Networks has given the go-ahead to an untitled dramatic series from AMC Studios, slated for release on AMC and AMC+. Jonathan Glatzer, known for his writing on popular shows like ‘Succession’ and ‘Better Call Saul,’ will serve as the writer and showrunner for this project.

The series will dive into the cut-throat world of Silicon Valley, exploring the interplay between misguided corporate cultures, innovation labs, and elite private high schools. At the center of the story is a scandal sparked by the exploitation of personal data, which spirals out of control, exposing the ambitious and often unethical world of tech.

“Get ready for a captivating, authentic look behind the curtain of Silicon Valley,” said Dan McDermott, president of entertainment and AMC Studios for AMC Networks. “The show chronicles the lives of characters creating the world we will all inhabit.”

In a statement, Glatzer shared his excitement about the project: “I’m thrilled to be doing this with AMC. I wanted to focus not just on the tech titans but on the ecosystem around them—the wannabe titans, the kids, the spouses, and everyone else living in this bubble where they believe they are inventing the future.”
