Lifetime presents Amish Affair, an original movie premiere that airs on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at 8:00 PM. The movie stars Mackenize Cardwell as Hannah, a young woman who finds herself entangled in a web of desire, deceit, and murder within an Amish community.
Hannah, portrayed by Cardwell, leaves her Amish community and finds refuge with a charismatic Amish leader, Aaron (Ryan McPartlin), and his ailing wife. Grateful for their hospitality and the work they provide, Hannah settles into their home to assist with chores. However, sparks soon fly between her and Aaron, leading to a secret relationship that both know is forbidden.
As their illicit romance blossoms, Aaron’s wife suddenly passes away under suspicious circumstances. Hannah, now suspected of murder, finds herself framed for the crime and must fight to clear her name. Caught between her feelings for Aaron and the strict moral code of the Amish community, Hannah navigates a complex situation that threatens her freedom and reputation.
Amish Affair is directed by Robin Hays and executive produced by Chris Wade, Jesse Prupas, and Ryan McPartlin, who also stars in the film. The movie is written by James Phillips.
