Anthony Jeselnik’s third Netflix special, “Bones and All,” arrives November 26th. Marking two decades of expertly crafted, often dark humor, the special draws from his ongoing world tour. Jeselnik’s previous Netflix outing, 2019’s “Fire in the Maternity Ward,” was a sharp, well-received hour of stand-up. Can “Bones and All” maintain that level of quality?
Jeselnik’s prior specials include “Thoughts and Prayers” (Netflix) and “Caligula” (Comedy Central), along with his debut album, “Shakespeare.” He also co-hosts the podcast “The Jeselnik and Rosenthal Vanity Project” and has helmed the Comedy Central series “Good Talk” and “The Jeselnik Offensive.”
He’s a familiar face on roasts and late-night shows. Jeselnik’s established persona and style offer a certain level of predictability, but his skill lies in finding new ways to subvert expectations within those boundaries.
“Anthony Jeselnik: Bones and All” is produced by Above Average Productions, with Jeselnik, Christie Smith, Ally Engelberg, and Marc Lieberman serving as executive producers. Bill Benz directs.
