Apple TV+ has announced the renewal of the critically acclaimed comedy series “Loot,” starring Maya Rudolph, for a third season.
The series follows Molly Wells (Rudolph), a billionaire who, after a very public divorce, finds herself focusing on her philanthropic organization, the Wells Foundation. Accompanied by her trusted assistant Nicholas (Joel Kim Booster), Molly navigates her new life, including a vow to stay single and a focus on wellness.
The cast also includes Michaela Jaé Rodriguez as Sofia Salinas, the no-nonsense executive director of the Wells Foundation, and Nat Faxon as Arthur, Molly’s colleague who moves on from his feelings for her. Ron Funches as Howard and Stephanie Styles as Ainsley round out the ensemble cast.
Created by Alan Yang and Matt Hubbard, who also serve as executive producers, “Loot” has won over audiences with its quirky and endearing characters. The complete first and second seasons are now available for streaming on Apple TV+.
