Apple TV+’s ‘Shrinking’ Renewed for Season Three

Shrinking Season 2 Key Art

Apple TV+ has renewed its comedy series ‘Shrinking’ for a third season, following the recent premiere of its second. The announcement was made at New York Comic Con, where the show’s creators and cast, including Jason Segel, Brett Goldstein, and Harrison Ford, participated in a panel discussion. The series has received positive critical reception, praised for its warm tone, humor, and cast performances.

‘Shrinking’ stars Segel as a grieving therapist who abandons traditional therapeutic practices, telling his clients exactly what he thinks. The series also features Ford in one of his first major television roles. The supporting cast includes Christa Miller, Jessica Williams, Luke Tennie, Michael Urie, Lukita Maxwell, and Ted McGinley, with Goldstein also making a guest appearance in the second season. While the show’s premise has its limitations, the cast’s chemistry and the reliably sharp writing from Bill Lawrence and Brett Goldstein suggest there’s still life left in the therapist’s office.

The series represents a continued partnership between Apple, Lawrence, and Warner Bros. Television, following ‘Ted Lasso’ and ‘Bad Monkey’.
