Ashley Walters (“Top Boy,” “Bulletproof”) and James Nesbitt (“Stay Close,” “Bloodlands”) have been cast in the upcoming Netflix adaptation of Harlan Coben’s “Missing You.”
The five-part thriller series follows Detective Kat Donovan (Rosalind Eleazar), whose fiancé Josh (Walters) disappeared 11 years ago. When she swipes on a dating app, she’s shocked to see his face again, forcing her to confront her past and the unsolved murder of her father.
The cast will also include Matt Jay-Willis (“Wolves of War,” “Love is Blind”), Jessica Plummer, Richard Armitage, Lenny Henry, Steve Pemberton, and Mary Malone. The series is produced by Quay Street Productions and is one of two upcoming adaptations of Coben’s novels, the other being “Run Away.”
Like many other Coben Netflix adaptations, the story has been relocated from the US to the UK, with filming taking place in Manchester and the north-west of England.
