In the third episode of Austin, airing on ABC TV on Sunday 23 June, Austin (Michael Theo) and his father, Julian (Ben Miller), embark on a bonding tour of Canberra, while Ingrid (Sally Phillips) unwittingly becomes part of Julian’s documentary plans. However, when Ingrid discovers the truth, she storms off, leaving Julian and Austin to navigate public transportation and unexpected twists.

Austin, eager to connect with his father, has organized a special day out in Canberra. Julian, seizing the opportunity for his documentary, brings Ingrid along to capture the day on video. Their journey includes a visit to Old Parliament House and the stationery department of New Parliament House, with Austin aiming to educate Julian about wartime Germany.
