This October, BBC One will broadcast Michael Mosley – Just One Thing, a special two-part series celebrating the life and legacy of the late science broadcaster Dr. Michael Mosley. Known for his commitment to making science accessible and practical, Mosley passed away earlier this year at the age of 67.

The series, produced by BBC Studios Science Unit in partnership with The Open University, will feature episodes reflecting his mission to improve public health through simple, impactful changes.

The two-part series will build on the success of Mosley’s Just One Thing podcast. In each episode, participants take on health challenges inspired by Mosley’s advice. The first episode focuses on the benefits of daily cold showers for energy and immunity, while the second explores cognitive improvements through learning new skills such as dancing and pottery. Both episodes aim to highlight Mosley’s belief in small lifestyle changes leading to significant health improvements.
