The Brassic crew returns for Season 6, picking up the pieces after their explosive encounter with Manolito. In the season premiere, “Stolen FA Cup,” the gang embarks on a wild adventure as they attempt to get their lives back on track. With the landscape changing and the friends contemplate what “growing up” truly means for a bunch like them.

In the previous season’s finale, the group planned to frame Manolito and there was the brilliant heist that involved stealing explicit Lowry paintings and planting them in his house. Disguised as art restorers, they manage to access the rare pieces, but things took a turn when Sugar went into labor mid-heist, and the police are tipped off. Vinnie and Erin make a frantic getaway across Manchester, paintings in hand, as they try to outrun the law.

It was the best episode of the season and ended with a phone call from the missing Dylan to Vinnie but judging by the fact that Dylan (Damien Maloney) hasn’t been in any of the press materials and is currently busy filming the new Bergerac reboot it looks like that storyline isn’t getting a conclusion anytime soon. On the plus side JJ is back this season after his admittedly bizarre walk out on pregnant girlfriend Sugar last season when he got involved in a dodgy drug deal with his shady cousin and was forced to go on the run. Episode three will see the gang trying to clear JJ’s name whilst next week’s episode will go back to the fall-out of their run in with Manolito.
