Bridget Christie Comedy “The Change” Premieres August 1 on BritBox International

The Change

BritBox International has acquired the rights to the comedy series The Change, created and written by stand-up comedian, actor, and writer Bridget Christie. The show will start streaming on the platform on August 1.

The Change follows the story of Linda, who believes she is experiencing early-onset dementia only to be informed by her doctor that she is going through menopause. Seeking to reclaim her time, Linda dusts off her old motorbike and embarks on a solo adventure to the Forest of Dean, exploring self-discovery and a new path in life.

The series is executive produced by Christie, Nerys Evans, and Morwenna Gordon, with Lisa Mitchell producing. It is distributed by BBC Studios.

Christie expressed her excitement about the series reaching a global audience through BritBox International, stating, “I can’t think of a better way for Linda to make her American debut than on BritBox International, home of all things great and British.
