Broadway dreams, singing waiters, and a Christmas Eve concert that could change everything—that’s the sparkly setup we find in Hallmark’s A Carol for Two. Our protagonist, Violette (Ginna Claire Mason), lands a gig at Fiore’s, a legendary diner where the staff belts out tunes while waiting for their big break. But her moment to shine, a duet with the frosty Alex (Jordan Litz), comes with a heaping side of drama. Alex, convinced Violette got the gig through family connections, isn’t exactly thrilled to share the stage.
While these two rehearse (and presumably clash like cymbals in a marching band), a love triangle starts simmering. Enter Brad, Alex’s cousin, who falls for Violette. What she doesn’t know? Alex is pulling a Cyrano de Bergerac, feeding Brad lines to woo her. As if things weren’t complicated enough, Alex starts developing feelings for Violette himself. Oh, honey. This situation is about to become messier than a spilled plate of spaghetti.
Eventually, the truth comes out, jeopardizing both Violette and Alex’s Broadway dreams. Talk about a recipe for disaster! With a dash of Charlotte D’Amboise in the mix, this theatrical treat might just hit all the right notes, even if the characters’ choices are a little off-key. Will Violette find love? Or will her big break turn into a big flop?
