On Wednesday July 3, CBS Mornings welcomes Robert Hartwell, host and executive producer of Taking Back the House, and Jessica Berman, commissioner of the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL).
Robert Hartwell, a storytelling expert, professional speaker, award-winning Broadway performer, director, and CEO of Strength On Stages, joins the show to discuss his role as host and executive producer of the television show Taking Back the House, presented by OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network, HGTV, and Scott Brothers Entertainment. Hartwell, who has appeared on Good Morning America and collaborated with Jay-Z, is known for his viral social media post about purchasing a 200-year-old colonial mansion and filling it with love.
Jessica Berman, an American lawyer, joins the show to discuss her role as commissioner of the NWSL, the highest professional women’s soccer league in the United States. Berman, who has served as commissioner since 2022, previously worked as deputy commissioner and executive vice president of business affairs at the National Lacrosse League (NLL), where she oversaw the league’s growth and legal affairs. As commissioner of the NWSL, Berman focuses on supporting players, working with clubs to build a growing audience, and creating an engaging fan experience.
