Channel 4’s Suspect Series 2 First Look Pics

Eagle Eye Drama, the production studio behind popular shows like ‘The Couple Next Door’ and ‘Professor T,’ has released first-look images, offering a glimpse into the second series of ‘Suspect.’ This eight-part drama will premiere on Channel 4 in the UK during the summer and will subsequently be available for streaming on BritBox International in the US and Canada.

The new season continues the narrative from the previous season’s cliffhanger, focusing on Dr. Susannah Newman, portrayed by Anne-Marie Duff. Duff takes on a determined role as she seeks the truth behind her daughter’s tragic death. A plot twist emerges with the introduction of a new client, Jon, played by Dominic Cooper, who reveals a secret whilst under hypnosis.

The cast for this season includes Ben Miller as Detective Superintendent Richard Groves, Tamsin Greig as Natasha Groves, and Vinette Robinson as Louisa McAdams. Eddie Marsan joins as Alistair Underwood, along with Celine Buckens, Nicholas Pinnock, and Gina McKee.

‘Suspect’ season two is directed by Carolina Giammetta, whose previous work includes ‘Before We Die’ and ‘Hollington Drive.’ The writing duties are handled by Joy Wilkinson for the first five episodes and David Allison for the final three.

This series is an adaptation of the acclaimed Danish original, ‘Forhøret’ (Face to Face), created and written by Christoffer Boe and Anna Juul. The original production was a collaboration between Miso Film, a Fremantle company, and executive producers Christoffer Boe, Jonas Allen, and Peter Bose, who also serve as executive producers on ‘Suspect.’
