The civics competition reaches its climax in Washington, D.C., where finalists face their final challenges. “Agree to Disagree,” the title of the episode, suggests a certain level of intellectual sparring, which, frankly, sounds refreshing in the current climate. Will these teenagers demonstrate a greater capacity for civil discourse than many adults currently occupying positions of power?
The culmination of a four-part series, this episode promises to crown a winner. But, perhaps more importantly, it gives us a glimpse into the minds of young people engaging with democracy.
