The team at Irv’s Resto Shop in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, well known for their world-class classic car restorations, will be the focus of UKTV’s new series, Classic Car Kings. This six-part series, commissioned for the factual channel U&YESTERDAY and free streaming service U, is set to air in 2025.

Classic Car Kings will focus on the extraordinary work of Paul “Irv” Irving and his three sons, along with their crew of skilled professionals. Their expertise in rescuing classic cars that seem beyond repair has earned them a reputation as restoration royalty. The team consists of welders, fabricators, blasters, painters, and mechanics who combine their knowledge, skills, and passion to bring vehicles back to life.

The U&YESTERDAY original series has been commissioned by Emile Nawagamuwa, Commissioning Executive, with Helen Nightingale, Head of Factual and Factual Entertainment Commissioning. It was ordered for U&YESTERDAY by Channel Director Gerald Casey and Director of Commissioning Hilary Rosen.
