The focus of the investigation falls on Jose Antonio Ibarra, a Venezuelan national, who has been charged with Riley’s murder. Ibarra is accused of inflicting blunt-force trauma to Riley’s head and asphyxiating her, causing her death.
The case takes a disturbing turn as Ibarra is also accused of allegedly peeping through a window and spying on a university staff member on the very same day he allegedly took Riley’s life.
