Dancing with the Stars presents “Soul Train Night,” a groovy special episode airing across ABC and Disney+ on Monday, October 7, 2024, at 8:00-10:01 p.m. EDT/PDT. The episode celebrates the iconic musical variety show, “Soul Train,” with performances from the remaining 11 couples.
Kicking off the night is a vibrant opening number set to “T.S.O.P. (The Sound of Philadelphia)” by MFSB featuring The Three Degrees, featuring guest dancer Popin Pete, a “Soul Train” alum, and choreography by Luam. The episode includes partner dances in a range of styles: Rumba, Jive, Foxtrot, Viennese Waltz, and Quickstep. Judge Derek Hough also presents a masterclass on the classic hit “Get Down On It” by Kool & the Gang, offering his expert dance tips.
Audiences can vote during the broadcast for their favorite couples, with voting open online for fans in any U.S. time zone, its territories, and Canada via dwtsvote.abc.com. SMS voting is also available for fans on participating U.S. wireless carriers. The votes from both nights will be combined with the judges’ scores to determine which couples are in jeopardy of elimination on Tuesday, October 8.

– NBA Champion Dwight Howard and pro Daniella Karagach will move to a Cha Cha beat with “Let’s Groove” by Earth, Wind & Fire.
– TV star Chandler Kinney and pro Brandon Armstrong will bring their own Cha Cha interpretation to “It’s Tricky” by Run-DMC.
– Ilona Maher, Olympian rugby player, and pro Alan Bersten will perform a graceful Foxtrot to “Lady Marmalade” by LaBelle.
– Model and cover girl Brooks Nader and pro Gleb Savchenko will heat things up with a Rumba to “Sexual Healing” by Marvin Gaye.
– Stephen Nedoroscik, Olympian gymnast, and pro Rylee Arnold will quickstep to “Superstition” by Stevie Wonder.
– Reality star Phaedra Parks and pro Val Chmerkovskiy will quickstep to “Think” by Aretha Franklin.
– Movie star Eric Roberts and pro Britt Stewart will present a Foxtrot to “Let’s Stay Together” by Al Green.
– “The Bachelorette” Jenn Tran and pro Sasha Farber will dance a Viennese Waltz to “Fallin'” by Alicia Keys.
– Sitcom and movie actor Reginald VelJohnson and pro Emma Slater will perform a Foxtrot to “I Can See Clearly Now” by Johnny Nash.
“Dancing with the Stars” is co-hosted by Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough, with a panel of judges including Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough.
