On Wednesday’s episode of Days of Our Lives, Melinda Trask visited Gabi Hernandez in the hospital, initially under the guise of checking on her but with another agenda. Melinda revealed that Stefan DiMera had asked her to prepare divorce papers. While offering to step down as his attorney if Gabi objected, Gabi supported Stefan’s decision and allowed Melinda to continue representing him.

Meanwhile, tension escalated between Stefan and EJ DiMera at the DiMera mansion. EJ goaded Stefan about his divorce, despite Stefan’s attempts to remind him of Rafe’s warning to stay away from Gabi. As the discussion grew heated, Gabi made a surprise return to collect her belongings.

During a private exchange, Gabi expressed frustration over Stefan’s choice of Melinda as his lawyer, implying his decision was influenced by Melinda’s personal feelings for him. Stefan, in turn, questioned her motives. Gabi eventually packed her things and left the mansion, both she and Stefan visibly emotional during their final farewell.

At the Kiriakis mansion, Sarah Kiriakis struggled with her injury and the guilt of her mother, Fiona Cook, who silently watched as Sarah grew overwhelmed. At Titan, Kristen DiMera tried to pressure Xander Cook into accepting a serum that could help Sarah walk again, but Xander was wary of its efficacy. Kristen persisted, and Xander eventually took the information home to Sarah, who remained skeptical.
