Salem continues its steady supply of intrigue on Tuesday. Chad, still grappling with the aftermath of Abigail’s death, has devised a plan involving Cat as bait to ensnare Clyde. It’s a risky gamble, reflecting the desperate circumstances surrounding Abigail’s death. Will it pay off? The outcome, however, remains uncertain. Cat, with a mix of hope and trepidation, agreed to participate, motivated by the possibility of also finding her missing mother.

JJ has returned to Salem, seeking answers about his sister’s death and finding comfort within his family. Julie, offering her usual wisdom and support, encouraged him to consider opening his heart to love again, a common theme in a town where heartbreak is as frequent as the town square clock chiming.

Meanwhile, Gabi delivered a resounding slap to EJ’s face after he taunted her about her failed marriage. The resulting tension was thick enough to cut with a DiMera letter opener.

Elsewhere, Johnny wrestled with his guilt over his infidelity while watching Chanel and Alex film a love scene. The situation is fraught with dramatic irony. Alex, unaware of Johnny and Chanel’s shared secret, remained supportive of the on-screen romance. Joy, however, became increasingly uneasy as Johnny inched closer to confessing. The clock is ticking for Johnny.
