This eerie series transports viewers to mysterious and ominous sites where dark histories and unexplained phenomena are prevalent. Bagans dispatches his documentary crew to explore these sinister locations, driven by the macabre tales and unsettling occurrences that surround each place.
The crew connects with local eyewitnesses and paranormal experts to unravel the legends, mysteries, and cultural beliefs that shroud these haunted locales. They document claims of supernatural activity, possessions, and curses, seeking to understand the terror that grips these communities.
In the series premiere, the team travels to Armero, Colombia, the site of a devastating volcanic eruption in 1985 that claimed thousands of lives. Was this catastrophe a natural disaster, or was it the result of a vengeful curse uttered by a murdered priest? Does his malevolent spirit still haunt the area?
