Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly Australia: Episode 2 (Channel 5, Tuesday, 1 October 2024)

Dogs Behaving (Very) Badly Australia

Master dog trainer Graeme Hall extends his expertise to Australia, aiding dog owners grappling with their pets’ challenging behaviors. In Melbourne’s eastern suburbs, Leanne lives in a peculiar state of darkness, blocking all external light to prevent her Maltese Shih Tzu, Leo, from spotting passersby and triggering his uncontrollable barking. Leo’s aggression knows no bounds, especially when it comes to the hairbrush, often leading to drawn-out battles with Leanne.

Graeme, known as the “Dog Father,” is summoned to tackle this chaotic situation and restore peace. He also receives a call to train an Australian Cattle Dog, a breed he rarely encounters in the UK. This particular dog, Clyde, embodies an intriguing paradox: a love for the great outdoors coupled with an intense aversion to going for walks. To better understand this unique breed, Graeme ventures to Gippsland for insights and strategies.

Back in Melbourne, Graeme is determined to solve the puzzle of why this working dog exerts his owners so much during walks. Meanwhile, in Sydney’s Bankstown, Graeme encounters a formidable duo: Survivor star George Mladenov and his Maltese terrier, Douglas. George, a master manipulator on Australian TV, faces a formidable foe in Douglas, whose relentless pursuit of human food disrupts family mealtimes.
