The competition intensifies in the grand finale of Double the Money, airing on Channel 4 on Thursday 6 June, as the remaining pairs of contestants strive to double their money and claim the ultimate prize. With only four weeks left, they must turn £10k into £20k, and the team with the highest earnings will also receive an additional £20k bonus.
In this episode, the finalists unveil their final strategies, each more ambitious than the last. One team, despite their lack of automotive expertise, decides to venture into the used car business. However, when sales don’t meet their expectations, they are forced to pivot and change direction to stay in the running.
Another team takes a more hands-on approach, launching a pizza van business, hoping to earn their winnings slice by slice. Meanwhile, other finalists opt for selling nutritious lunch bowls and creating an entire coffee brand.
As the clock ticks down, the pressure mounts, and the teams’ resilience and ingenuity are tested. When time finally runs out, the finalists return to The Vault, where the series winners are crowned, taking home a substantial cash prize.
