Eat, Slay, Love “Lost in Translation” (Bravo, Wednesday, November 20, 2024)

Eat, Slay, Love Key Art

So, Nivea’s bright idea for a girls’ trip to Vietnam in this week’s Eat, Slay, Love—apparently involving copious amounts of eating, slaying, and loving—looks set to go sideways faster than a scooter in Hanoi rush hour. Joining Nivea for this supposedly rejuvenating adventure are Eva Marcille, Tammy Rivera, and London Hughes, a group seemingly handpicked for maximum potential friction.

Things kick off in Hanoi, all smiles and Instagrammable moments. But the sheen of carefully curated travel content quickly wears thin as cultural differences and simmering personality conflicts bubble to the surface. Hanoi’s Old Quarter, with its charming chaos, might be a feast for the senses, but it also becomes a breeding ground for inter-diva squabbles. Let’s just say the street food vendors probably got a better show than the Bravo cameras.

Exactly what triggers the eruption of Mount Nivea remains unclear, but the synopsis hints at a disagreement of epic proportions. Words are exchanged, alliances shift like sand dunes, and suddenly the whole trip is hanging by a thread. Will these ladies salvage their Vietnamese vacation, or will they return home with more baggage than they packed?
