In this fourth episode of Emergency, we witness the life-saving efforts of medical professionals as they tend to multiple critical cases. At the Royal London Hospital, 56-year-old plasterer Lee is brought out of a medically-induced coma following a severe car accident and subsequent complex surgeries.
The race is on for his recovery as the medical team monitors his progress. Meanwhile, at St Mary’s Major Trauma Centre, 43-year-old moped delivery driver Maurilio is rushed in after colliding with a car. As Maurilio receives urgent medical attention, his son, Kauan, struggles to process the traumatic event.
In Ashford, Kent, the emergency continues as 78-year-old Ronald is rushed to William Harvey Hospital by paramedics. Ronald, an active horse rider, has sustained severe abdominal injuries, including potential internal bleeding, after a horse-jumping accident. The orthopaedic surgeon, Ibraheim, faces the challenging task of repairing Ronald’s pelvis and identifying the source of the internal bleeding.
