The conflict reached a boiling point when the Shabazzes encountered Jackson at a party at Harpoon Larry’s restaurant. A confrontation ensued in the parking lot, with Shabazz’s husband, Sal, allegedly using a taser to keep others from intervening.
Tragically, Sal Shabazz was later shot and killed at his home. Prosecutors linked the murder to the ongoing feud between Jackson and Jacquie Shabazz.
