First Look: Jenna Coleman Stars in the BBC’s Crime Drama, ‘The Jetty’

The BBC has released the first look at their upcoming four-part crime drama series, “The Jetty,” starring Jenna Coleman as Detective Ember Manning. The series, filmed in Lancashire, explores themes of sexual morality, age of consent, grooming, identity, and memory.

Coleman is joined by a talented cast, including Archie Renaux as Hitch, Ruby Stokes as Hannah, Tom Glynn-Carney, Laura Marcus, Bo Bragason, Weruche Opia, and Amelia Bullmore.

“The Jetty” centres on a fire in a Lancashire lake town, leading Detective Ember Manning to uncover connections to a missing persons cold case and an illicit relationship between a man and two underage girls. As the investigation intensifies, Ember’s personal history, present life, and sense of home intertwine with the unfolding mystery.

The cast also includes Matthew McNulty, Ralph Ineson, David Ajala, Nina Barker-Francis, Miya Ocego, Elliot Cowan, Shannon Watson, Arthur Hughes, Dominic Coleman, and Ruaridh Mollica.
