Returning to a semblance of normalcy after a kidnapping is probably not as simple as a spa day and a new wardrobe. Lacey (Gabrielle Walsh), having recently experienced the unpleasantness of forced confinement, is trying to pick up the pieces of her life. One imagines this involves a certain amount of therapy, awkward social interactions, and a healthy dose of paranoia. It can’t be easy to just waltz back into the world after such an ordeal.
Meanwhile, the Missing and Abducted team, led by Gabi (Shanola Hampton), still reeling from the whole Lacey situation (and still somewhat fractured as a result), is tasked with finding the missing parents of a 15-year-old boy.
Sir (Mark-Paul Gosselaar), ever the planner and manipulator, is thinking about the future. And Trent (Brett Dalton), because everyone needs a good subplot, is facing a tough decision in a case of his own.
