A brain injury steals eight years of Dr. Amy Larsen’s life, forcing her to confront a present she doesn’t recognize in FOX’s new medical drama, Doc. The first look promo, airing during World Series Game 2 on October 26th, introduces viewers to Dr. Larsen’s struggle to reclaim her life and career.

Molly Parker (House of Cards) portrays the brilliant but now amnesiac Chief of Internal and Family Medicine. The injury creates a chasm in her life, leaving her with no memory of patients, colleagues, a divorce, a new love, or the traumatic event that reshaped her relationships. Her only anchors are her estranged daughter, who is now a teenager but exists in Amy’s mind as a young child, and a few loyal friends.

The series chronicles Amy’s unusual path as she attempts to piece together her forgotten years while simultaneously practicing medicine, a challenge made even more difficult by the substantial gap in her knowledge. The promo hints at the emotional weight of Amy’s journey as she grapples with lost time and rediscovers her life’s trajectory.

Omar Metwally (Big Sky), Amirah Vann (A Jazzman’s Blues), Jon Ecker (Firefly Lane), and Anya Banerjee (The Blacklist) join the cast. Recurring roles are filled by Scott Wolf (Party of Five) and Patrick Walker (Lessons In Chemistry).
