FOX’s “9-1-1: Lone Star” is back for its fifth season, premiering on Monday, September 23, at 8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT. The series follows the members of Austin’s 126 Fire Department, led by Captain Owen Strand (Rob Lowe), who, along with his adult son, T.K. (Ronen Rubinstein), relocated to Texas to rebuild the firehouse after a tragedy.
The diverse and qualified team includes Paramedic Captain Tommy Vega (Gina Torres), Judd Ryder (Jim Parrack), Marjan Marwani (Natacha Karam), Paul Strickland (Brian Michael Smith), and rookie firefighter Mateo Chavez (Julian Works).
The fifth season opens with a multi-episodic storyline, as the team races to rescue survivors of a catastrophic train derailment. With Judd stepping down to care for his son, Owen must choose a new lieutenant between Marjan and Paul. Tommy, ready to take the next step in her relationship, faces obstacles, and T.K., now married to Carlos Reyes (Rafael Silva), receives a surprise visit that could change their lives.
“9-1-1: Lone Star” is produced by 20th Television in association with Ryan Murphy Television and Brad Falchuk Teley-Vision, with Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Tim Minear as creators and executive producers. Bradley Buecker also serves as an executive producer.
