Monday’s episode of Garden Rescue, features a competition between designers Chris and Charlie as they transform the garden of a family passionate about art and upcycling.
Claire and James’ garden includes an art studio at the back, which becomes a key feature in Chris’s design. He incorporates the studio into his plan, aiming to create a seamless blend of functionality and creativity. In contrast, Charlie has a different vision and proposes an art-inspired gravel zone for that area, adding a unique texture and aesthetic to the space.
Chris’s design also includes a standout feature: a crazy-paving patio and path constructed from old, broken paving slabs. This upcycled element not only adds character but also contributes to the overall charm of the garden. To complete the transformation, Chris includes a mini pond and an elegant love seat, providing the family with a peaceful spot to relax and enjoy their new outdoor space.
Charlie, on the other hand, focuses on creating an artistic haven. The gravel zone in his design not only pays homage to the family’s love of art but also provides a low-maintenance and visually appealing surface. With their individual approaches and creative interpretations, both designers strive to deliver a garden that aligns with the family’s interests and lifestyle.
