Gardeners’ World returns with a brand new episode on BBC Two, airing on 21 June 2024. In this episode, Frances Tophill visits Powderham Castle in Devon, where she spends the day with her friend Jeanette, who has been working on a unique garden project.
Together, they plant raspberries, fruit trees, and climbing beans, while Frances also adds a touch of colour to an ornamental border and shares her expertise on growing herbs in containers.
The episode takes us to the exquisite gardens of Wollerton Old Hall in Shropshire, where Toby Buckland explores the quintessentially English landscaping and delights in the stunning delphiniums, the stars of the summer border. Rekha Mistry takes a trip down memory lane to the Inner Temple Gardens in London, a place that holds a special significance for her and sparked her interest in ornamental planting.
Audiences will be treated to a demonstration of the art of bonsai by an expert grower in Surrey, and we’ll also meet a couple from Lancashire who have crafted a beautiful and innovative garden in a challenging space.
Gardeners’ World: Episode 14 airs on BBC Two at 8:00 pm on 21 June 2024.
