On Wednesday, May 29, ABC’s GMA3: What You Need to Know welcomes actor Leslie Odom Jr., The Washington Post’s personal finance columnist Michelle Singletary, and Blueland CEO Sarah Paiji Yoo to the show.

Leslie Odom Jr., a Tony Award-winning actor, joins the show to discuss his role in the Broadway revival of Ossie Davis’ “Purlie Victorious: A Non-Confederate Romp Through the Cotton Patch.” Odom portrays Purlie, a traveling minister who returns to southern Georgia to reclaim his inheritance, buy back his old church, and turn it into a racially integrated place of worship. The play, directed by Kenny Leon, is Odom’s first non-musical role on Broadway and earned him a 2024 Tony Award nomination for Best Lead Actor in a Play.

Michelle Singletary, a personal finance columnist for The Washington Post, will discuss the current shift in food prices. Singletary is the author of four personal finance books, including “What to Do With Your Money When Crisis Hits: A Survival Guide” and “The 21-Day Financial Fast.” Her nationally syndicated column, “The Color of Money,” appears in The Washington Post and other newspapers across the country.

Sarah Paiji Yoo, the co-founder and CEO of Blueland, will talk about her company’s mission to eliminate single-use plastic packaging and promote sustainable choices. Paiji Yoo, a serial entrepreneur, has appeared on “Shark Tank” and contributed to various publications, including The Wall Street Journal, TechCrunch, and Forbes.
