On Monday, June 3, GMA3: What You Need to Know welcomes comedian Matt Mathews, chef and television personality Alex Guarnaschelli, Sirius XM host and ABC News contributor Mike Muse, Bryan Hagerich, and Broadway star Lindsay Mendez.
Matt Mathews, a former nurse turned photographer and stand-up comedian, will perform his “When That Thang Get Ta’ Thang’n” routine. Mathews, who is currently on his first headlining comedy tour, has also written a memoir titled “Uncovered: The Naked Truth of Life, Love and Addiction.”
Chef and television personality Alex Guarnaschelli will showcase her culinary skills and share insights from her extensive career. Guarnaschelli, who is also an author, currently serves as the executive chef at New York City’s Butter restaurant. She has appeared on various Food Network shows, including Iron Chef America, Chopped, and The Kitchen. In addition to her culinary endeavors, Guarnaschelli is a mother and a native New Yorker.
Mike Muse, a music executive, pop culture expert, and political expert, will share the latest headlines from Hollywood.
Bryan Hagerich, a Pennsylvania father, will share his experience of being detained in Turks and Caicos for three months after accidentally carrying hunting ammunition in his luggage. Hagerich faced a potential 12-year sentence under the country’s strict gun laws but was ultimately given a suspended 52-week sentence and a $6,700 fine. He reunited with his family upon returning to the United States and expressed his relief and gratitude.
Lindsay Mendez, an American actress and singer known for her work in musical theatre, will discuss her career and current projects. Mendez has won a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her performance in the Broadway revival of “Carousel.” She is currently starring in the first Broadway revival of “Merrily We Roll Along.” Mendez is expecting her second child and has shared her experiences of performing on Broadway while pregnant.
