On Monday morning, Good Morning America welcomes the voices behind Disney Jr.’s animated “SuperKitties,” Ginny and Bitsy.
The hosts will also be joined by actors John David Washington, Malcolm Washington, and Danielle Deadwyler to discuss their new film, “The Piano Lesson.” The movie, which premieres November 22, is a Netflix adaptation of August Wilson’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play, is a family affair, directed by Malcolm Washington and produced by his father, the legendary Denzel Washington.
The film explores a family grappling with the legacy of slavery in 1936 Pittsburgh, as siblings clash over a piano’s significance. John David Washington plays the brother eager to sell the heirloom, while Danielle Deadwyler is the sister determined to retain it.
Broadway icon Audra McDonald will also grace the GMA stage to discuss her leading role as Rose in the revival of the musical “Gypsy.” Rose’s relentless pursuit of stardom for her daughters forms the heart of this classic tale.
Finally, GMA lifestyle contributor Lori Bergamotto will offer some creative last-minute Halloween party inspiration.
