On Tuesday, June 25, Good Morning America welcomes chef Renato Poliafito, InStyle magazine’s beauty editor Kara Jillian Brown, author Tomi Adeyemi, and the cast of Hulu’s “The Bear”.
Renato Poliafito, a two-time James Beard Award-nominated baker, joins the show to discuss his new cookbook, “Dolci!,” which celebrates Italian and Italian-American tastes and traditions. The book features almost 100 recipes, including classics like Pastiera and Torta Caprese, as well as innovative creations such as Aperol Spritz Cake and Italian Krispie Treats. Poliafito owns Ciao, Gloria, a bakery and cafe in Brooklyn, New York, which has been hailed as one of America’s best bakeries.
Kara Jillian Brown, the beauty editor of InStyle magazine, will offer viewers a preview of this year’s InStyle Awards. InStyle is a trusted source for fashion, beauty, celebrity, and lifestyle content, offering exclusive access to the latest trends and products. Brown, a certified fitness instructor, also teaches barre classes in Brooklyn.
Tomi Adeyemi, a Nigerian-American writer and creative writing coach based in San Diego, California, will discuss her latest book, “Children of Anguish and Anarchy.” This highly anticipated third installment in the Legacy of Orïsha series continues the story of Zélie, a resistance fighter, as she faces new enemies and searches for allies in unknown lands. Adeyemi’s debut novel, “Children of Blood and Bone,” is being developed into a movie by Fox, with producers from “Twilight” and “The Maze Runner.”
The cast of Hulu’s acclaimed series “The Bear” will also make an appearance. The show follows Jeremy Allen White as Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto, an award-winning chef who returns to his hometown of Chicago to manage his late brother’s sandwich shop. The series has received numerous accolades, including Primetime Emmy Awards and Golden Globe Awards, for its writing, directing, acting, and production values.
