Good Morning America welcomes director Shawn Levy, actress Kerry Washington, and actress Anna Sawai to the show.
Shawn Levy, a Canadian film director, producer, screenwriter, and actor, joins the show to discuss his new movie “Deadpool & Wolverine”. Levy is known for directing comedy films such as “Night at the Museum” and its sequel, “Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian.”
Kerry Washington, an Emmy-winning actress, will discuss her role in the Hulu comedy series “UnPrisoned,” where she plays Paige Alexander, a family and marriage therapist with a large Instagram following. Washington also serves as an executive producer on the show, which is inspired by creator Tracy McMillan’s life. The second season of “UnPrisoned” premiered on July 17, 2024, and explores the Alexander family’s attempts to move forward while processing their individual issues.
Anna Sawai, a New Zealand-born actress, will talk about her role in the FX limited series “Shōgun,” where she portrays Toda Mariko. Sawai is known for her roles in “Ninja Assassin,” “F9: The Fast Saga,” and the Apple TV+ series “Pachinko.” She was also a member of the Japanese girl group Faky before returning to acting.
