New FX horror tinged crime drama continues on Wednesday evening with episodes 5 and 6 starting at 10:00 PM.
In Episode 5, a disturbing new finding leads Lois to a familiar face, then, in the sixth episode, she continues to explore the repercussions of this encounter.
The small community is shaken by a series of heinous crimes, and Lois can’t shake the feeling that these incidents are somehow directed at her.
At home, she faces challenges in her relationship with her daughter and cares for her husband, who is in long-term hospital care. Lois’s inner struggles are further compounded by the lack of leads in the case.
Fortunately, she finds an ally in Sister Megan, a nun, and journalist with the Catholic Guardian. Sister Megan, marked by her own troubled past, believes in the inherent goodness of humanity, contrasting Lois’s growing fear that evil is prevailing. Together, they embark on a quest for answers, piecing together clues that only lead to more questions and drawing them deeper into a sinister labyrinth.
