Documentary series, Happy Campers: The Caravan Park, returns with a brand-new episode on Channel 5. Airing on Thursday, 27 June 2024, at 8:00 pm, this installment invites viewers to join the dedicated staff and guests at two holiday parks: Tencreek in Looe, Cornwall, and Holiday Resort Unity near Weston-super-Mare in Somerset.
At Tencreek, Park Manager Rob encounters a mysterious abandoned car and its stranded caravan, towed to safety by the maintenance team. Meanwhile, holidaymakers the Seals arrive after an eight-hour journey, eager to relax and participate in their favorite activity: Bingo. Will they break their losing streak and win the grand prize?
Over in Somerset, it’s Country & Western week at Holiday Resort Unity, and Guest Services Supervisor Sara is embracing the spirit. She joins hundreds of guests dressed up for one of the biggest reenactment events of the year. Sara tries her hand at a fast-fingered quickdraw event, channelling her inner Annie Oakley.
Back in Cornwall, General Manager Rob anxiously awaits the arrival of new guest caravans. With significant costs involved, he worries about potential damage on the narrow Cornish roads. It’s a race to get the caravans in place before the new guests arrive.
